CONTEST RULES:
Must be 18 or older to win. Must be a resident of Canada (excluding QB). Contest open between Friday Jan 11, 2019 at 8am EST and Tues Jan 15, 2019 at 11:59pm EST. If selected to win, entrants must correctly answer a skill testing question and agree to be named as a winner on social media.
We will randomly pick ONE winner on Jan 16, 2019 and will notify them that day. The selected winner will need to answer a skill testing question and send us their mailing address no later than 12:00 p.m. ET Thursday Jan 17. DESCRIPTION: The Fruits from Chile January Sweepstakes Contest open between Friday Jan 11, 2019 at 8am EST and Tues Jan 15, 2019 at 11:59pm EST (“Sweepstakes Period”). This Sweepstakes shall be subject to these Official Rules, and by entering, all entrants agree to abide and be bound by these rules and the decisions of the Sponsor.
NO PURCHASE OR PAYMENT OF ANY KIND IS NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A PURCHASE WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING.
ELIGIBILITY: The Contest is only open to legal residents living in Canada, who are at least 18 years old at the time of Entry and logging onto the Internet from Canada and who are not otherwise excluded from participation (each an “Entrant” or, collectively, “Entrants”).
Employees, owners, shareholders, officers and directors of Sponsor or Administrator (collectively, the “Contest Entities”), Facebook, Instagram, and each of their respective parent companies, affiliates, divisions, subsidiaries, agents, representatives, promotion and advertising agencies together with the immediate family members and/or those living in the same household of such persons, are not eligible to participate in the Contest. “Immediate family members” shall mean parents, step-parents, legal guardians, children, step-children, siblings, step-siblings, or spouses.
In the event of a dispute over the identity of an Entrant or potential winner in the Contest, the Entrant or potential winner will be deemed the authorized account holder of the email address or social media account associated with the Entry. “Authorized account holder” is defined as the natural person in whose name the email account or social media account was opened. In the event a dispute regarding the identity of an Entrant or potential winner cannot be resolved to Sponsor’s satisfaction, the affected Entry will be deemed ineligible. PRIZES: There is ONE prize. Prize value is approximate at $130. You will not be compensated if actual prize value is lower than any quoted value. The prize must be accepted as awarded. The prize may not be exactly as advertised. The prize is provided “as is” without representation or warranty of any kind by the sponsor.
WINNER SELECTION AND NOTIFICATION: In the event of a dispute regarding the identity of an entrant, the holder of the Instagram account will be deemed the person who submitted the entry. Incomplete entries will be disqualified, and Sponsor is not responsible for online registrations that are lost, late, deleted, garbled, corrupted, misdelivered, or misdirected as a result of technical, internet or other online difficulties or errors. All entries must be received by the close of the Sweepstakes Period. All received entries become the property of the Sponsor and will not be returned. Sponsors will treat entry information in accordance with its privacy policy. Potential winner is subject to verification by Sponsor whose decisions are final and binding in all matters related to this Sweepstakes.
On Jan 16, 2019, Sponsor will select potential winner in a random drawing from among all eligible entries received. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received. Chosen entrant must correctly answer a skill-testing question to claim their prize. Sponsor will make all final decisions in any and all issues related to this Sweepstakes, and its decisions shall be final and binding in all respects. Potential winner will be contacted on Jan 16, 2019 via Facebook direct message.
A winner will be disqualified and an alternate winner may be selected by random drawing from among all remaining entries if: (a) a winner does not claim their prize by 12:00 p.m. EST Thursday Jan 17, 2019; (b) a winner does not fulfill the eligibility requirements; (c) a winner does not adhere to the Official Rules; (d) a winner fails to submit the required information or clearance documentation within the time period determined by Sponsor (e) if the prize notification is returned as undeliverable, refused, or declined and/or (f) for any reason deemed by Sponsor.
